Summary of the letter
MBA Polska presented its position on the public debate concerning the eligibility of MBA graduates to sit on supervisory boards. The Association points out that MBA programmes are advanced managerial studies intended for experienced professionals and combine practical business experience with knowledge in management, finance, strategy, leadership and corporate governance.
The open letter underlines that solutions adopted in law and public practice should protect high standards, transparency and credibility, while also respecting the competence of people who completed demanding MBA programmes and have relevant professional experience.
MBA Polska supports clear criteria, quality verification and responsible participation of MBA graduates in economic life. The Association also stresses that the value of MBA education is connected not only with formal completion of studies, but also with managerial practice, ethical responsibility and the ability to make decisions in complex organisations.
