The Association of MBA Organisations in Poland (MBA Polska) has received a positive response from the Ministry of State Assets to its request to participate in the public consultation process for draft legislation UPR012, concerning amendments to the rules for managing State Treasury assets.
This is an important step in developing MBA Polska’s role as a voice of MBA alumni in discussions on management standards and the economy. The Ministry’s response means the Association is to receive the draft for consultation and will have the opportunity to submit comments and recommendations on the proposed provisions.
Practical management experience in public consultation
The MBA Polska community comprises more than 1,000 MBA alumni across nine member associations. They include leaders of companies and organisations, entrepreneurs and experts working in a wide range of industries and regions.
Their professional experience can help bring a practical perspective to debate about corporate governance, supervisory standards and organisational decision-making. Participation in the consultation process creates an opportunity for the MBA community to contribute to a formal legislative discussion.
At this stage, the confirmed development is MBA Polska’s inclusion in the consultation process. This does not mean that the Association has already received the final draft or submitted its formal comments. Any further steps will be communicated when they occur.
The initiative builds on earlier dialogue between MBA Polska and the Ministry of State Assets concerning the rights of MBA alumni and standards of governance in State Treasury companies.
